Algonquin Outfitters is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced retail professional to join our Huntsville team as a Senior Sales Associate. What You’ll Be Doing
- Connect with customers and help them find the right gear for their next paddle, ride, or hike
- Specialize in technical hardgoods like camping gear, kayaks and paddling gear, clothing, and footwear.
- Support rentals, sales, and checkout to keep the store running smoothly
- Answer phones, share your outdoor knowledge, and make sure customers leave excited to return
- Grow into opportunities with supervision, hiring, and leadership
What We’re Looking For
- Passion for outdoor adventure and knowledge of gear and apparel
- 2–5 years of retail or customer service experience (merchandising is a plus, but we’ll train)
- Motivation to go above and beyond, with a customer-first mindset
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Energy and stamina to be on your feet for most of your shift
