Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various makes and models of vehicles, including assembling and welding components as needed.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to execute repairs and installations.
- Diagnose mechanical issues using schematics and technical manuals to ensure accurate repairs.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain high standards of quality and efficiency in all repair work.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating repair needs clearly and professionally to clients.
- Keep detailed records of services performed, parts used, and any additional recommendations for future maintenance.
- Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices to enhance skills and knowledge.
Experience
- Previous experience as an Automotive Technician or Mechanic in a dealership or independent shop setting is preferred.
- Proficiency in automotive repair techniques, including the use of diagnostic equipment.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, electrical systems, and automotive schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
