Job Description:
The Warehouse Solutions Sales Manager will be an impactful and strategic leader on the Destuff-it / Restuff-it conveyor sales team as they develop and grow existing accounts, and close on opportunities for new business. As a proven leader, they will be relied upon to coordinate the sales team, and provide coaching to continuously elevate the team’s performance. They will provide an exceptional customer experience during the sales cycle and tactfully manage client relationships. This position will report to the Director of Sales & Customer Experience and be responsible for managing and leading the Canadian and US Warehouse Solutions sales team.
Responsibilities:
Execute assigned responsibilities for the sales program, oversee overall performance, and continuously evaluate results to make adjustments when necessary.
Backfill for Director of Sales and Customer Experience, when needed. (ex. Monthly Managers Meeting, Sales and Operations Planning Meeting)
Collaborate with department leadership to develop and implement strategic sales plans, targets, and goals.
Direct sales forecasting activities and sets performance goals accordingly for assigned direct reports and regions or customers.
Coordinate, support, and lead direct reports, conduct regular coaching and feedback meetings, and ensure their job performance standards are met or exceeded.
Perform periodic analysis of sales volume, potential sales, areas of proposed expansion and other sales KPIs.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, channel partners, and other accounts (active, inactive, and prospective) within the assigned geography.
Direct assigned channel development activity and coordinate sales distribution by establishing sales territories, quotas, and goals for the region.
Manage and maintain the accuracy and consistent flow of information through the CRM and sales program.
Stay up to date on industry trends and present new opportunities to leadership as they are identified.
Provide input to leadership to define and refine the organization’s go-to-market strategy.
Develop strong industry networks and relationships.
Collaborate with department leadership and Human Resources to recruit, interview, select, and onboard new workers.
Work in conjunction with all company policies and procedures, and complete work to the best of abilities.
Teach and/or attend training programs and attend internal national sales meetings.
Represent the organization at trade shows and industry seminars.
Requirements:
Degree or Diploma in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field preferred. Will consider a combination of relevant industry experience and a demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development.
Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
Must have valid passport, and able to travel (25%-50% of time) to customer or vendor locations in Canada, USA, and occasionally outside North America.
5+ years of experience as a manager leading a sales team, preferably selling capital equipment via multi-channels to big box retailers and/or the Logistics/Warehousing/Distribution industry.
Previous positions and/or experience in the material handling industry, and a background in design, technical or engineering, a strong asset.
Demonstrated proficiency with ERP software and strong Outlook and Excel abilities.
Proven leadership abilities and a track record of fostering and growing relationships with direct reports and customers.
Experience achieving individual and team sales targets with a customer-focused approach, and strong negotiation and influencing abilities.

Working Conditions:
Works remotely with flexibility for travel to off-site meetings
Usually works a standard forty (40) hour work week
May be required to work some overtime hours to attend meetings or meet organizational needs
May experience tight deadlines and stressful conditions at times
Must be able to manage frequent interruptions and multiple tasks daily
