We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Responsibilities
- Operate dishwashing equipment to clean dishes, pots, pans, and utensils efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized dishwashing area, ensuring all items are stored properly after cleaning.
- Assist kitchen staff with food preparation tasks as needed.
- Help maintain cleanliness in other areas of the kitchen, including countertops and floors.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with cooks and other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Dispose of waste properly and assist in recycling efforts when applicable.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a food service or hospitality environment is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
- Knowledge of basic food handling and sanitation practices is a plus.
- Must be able to stand for long periods and lift heavy items as necessary.
