Worley Canada Construction is seeking experienced journeypersons or trades professionals to join our Materials Management team in a senior Material Handler capacity.
This role is ideal for individuals looking to transition from tools into a coordination-focused field role, while remaining closely connected to construction execution.
Senior Material Handlers play a key role in supporting material readiness, workface delivery, and mentoring junior team members, ensuring materials are available, properly handled, and aligned with construction priorities.
Work Conditions:

Responsibilities:
- Execute and coordinate complex material handling activities on site
- Support material prioritization aligned with construction sequencing
- Mentor and guide junior Material Handlers in field execution and best practices
- Identify and escalate material issues (shorts, damage, misalignment with scope)
- Support efficient movement of materials to the workface
- Interface with construction supervision and materials leadership
Qualifications
Required:
- Journeyperson certification or equivalent trades experience (e.g., pipe, structural, E&I, mechanical)
- OR demonstrated experience in industrial construction with strong materials exposure
- Strong understanding of construction workflows and material usage
- Ability to work in a field-based, execution-focused environment
Preferred:
- Prior experience in material handling, receiving, or laydown operations
- Experience supporting workface delivery or construction crews
- Familiarity with material tracking systems (SiteSense, Jovix, etc.)
- Equipment operation experience (forklift, telehandler)
