Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our warehouse team. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth flow of materials, inventory management, and efficient shipping and receiving operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse distribution, heavy equipment operation, and possess strong organizational skills. This position offers an opportunity to work with a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment, supporting construction, manufacturing, or distribution processes.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload materials
- Pick and pack orders efficiently for shipping or storage purposes
- Assist in the movement of materials within the warehouse, ensuring safety protocols are followed
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency
- Support shipping & receiving activities by verifying incoming and outgoing shipments
- Ensure compliance with safety standards during all material handling operations
Skills
- Proven experience in warehouse distribution, shipping & receiving, or related fields
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Experience with order picking, load & unload procedures, and warehouse organization
- Knowledge of construction materials handling is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and follow safety protocols at all times
