Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization within residential spaces, ensuring a welcoming environment for our guests. This role requires strong time management skills, a commitment to customer service, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients.Key Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, bedrooms, and common areas
- Change bed linens and make beds
- Wash, fold, and iron laundry as required
- Empty trash bins and dispose of waste properly
- Replenish cleaning supplies and household items
- Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces
- Organize rooms and maintain a tidy environment
- Report maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards
- Follow health and safety guidelines when handling cleaning chemicals
- Maintain confidentiality and respect privacy
- Perform any other duties assigned by management
Experience
- Previous experience in residential cleaning or housekeeping is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in all cleaning tasks.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English; proficiency in French is a plus.
- A friendly demeanor with excellent customer service skills to foster positive client relationships.
- Capability to work independently while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
