Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and dependable Route Driver to join our team in Red Deer. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely delivering and merchandising goods to various locations, ensuring timely service, and maintaining excellent customer relations. This role requires strong driving skills, physical endurance, flexibility and attention to detail. The Route Driver will play a crucial role in maintaining our company's reputation for dependable delivery and exceptional customer service. This position will be 3-5 days a week and will become full time by end of August if not sooner.
Hours: 6:00am-2:30 pm or 7:00am-3:30pm

Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver products and fill vending machines across assigned routes.
- Load and unload cargo safely
- Maintain accurate inventories, using our APP
- Communicate effectively with customers and management
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Assist with warehouse activities such as moving inventory, organizing stock, and putting away deliveries
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries professionally and promptly and ensuring fresh stock
- Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws during deliveries.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Experience in commercial driving, warehouse operations, retail or related fields preferred.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks regularly throughout the day.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate documentation.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently on assigned routes.
- Physical stamina to handle moving cargo, loading/unloading.
