Taylight Brewing is looking to grow our Brewing Team and have exciting plans for growth in the works. We’re situated in Port Coquitlam along the Mary Hill Bypass right next Peace Park and along the Traboulay Trail. We have an established brand, loyal following and are excited for what’s to come. We are looking for a passionate full time Brewer to join in on the excitement.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate the brewhouse safely and efficiently in the production of wort
- Ensure product quality is within specification by monitoring quality check points throughout entire brewing process
- Prepare tanks for use by properly cleaning and sanitizing
- Transfer of the product within the cellar
- Packaging of the product to cans and kegs
- Provide routine housekeeping and maintenance to the working area and equipment
- Troubleshoot processes when undesirable results occur
- Provide sensory feedback on in process and final products
- Assist with new product development
Qualifications:
- Formal Brewing Education
- Experience working in a Brewery environment
- Class 5 driver’s license
- Able to lift 50 kgs
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as a team
- Able to multitask
- Attention to detail
- Problem solving abilities
- Enthusiastic and Passionate about all thing’s beer related
- Forklift Experience is a plus
- Serving It Right is a plus
