Dataco Utility Services LTD: offers an opportunity for a service-oriented individual who will be involved in providing service in the city of Calgary in the province of Alberta. You will be performing disconnects/reconnects/meter exchanges of the electric meters in a variety of conditions and in accordance with policy and procedures. You will be required to join the rotation of disconnects/reconnects and meter exchanges, based on seniority as needed. You will read interpret and apply information obtained from maps, schedules and reports.
Minimum Requirements:
- The ability to communicate clearly in the English language, both verbal & written.
- Strong interpersonal skills & tact in dealing with the public and staff at all levels.
- Flexibility & sound judgment.
- Ability to adjust priorities under heavy workloads to meet deadlines.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to learn, retain and apply new concepts and information.
- Organizational skills are a must.
- Be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid Alberta Class 5 Operator's License.
- Ability to work independently with a minimum of supervision.
- Preference given to those possessing directly related experience. Must have your own reliable vehicle.
Compensation:
Piece rate
Hours of Work
Monday to Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm
Available evenings and Saturdays for customer appointments and when required
Pay: $55,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
