Dental Administrator / Treatment Coordinator
We are a growing, patient-focused dental practice looking for a friendly, motivated, and organized Dental Administrator / Treatment Coordinator to join our team.
As our practice continues to expand and take on exciting new initiatives in the coming months, we're looking for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, is eager to learn, and is ready to take on new challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome and greet patients with a warm, professional attitude.
- Answer incoming phone calls and respond to patient inquiries.
- Schedule and coordinate patient appointments.
- Prepare and present treatment estimates to patients.
- Communicate with insurance companies regarding coverage, claims, and pre-authorizations.
- Help ensure the front office runs efficiently while providing an exceptional patient experience.
What We're Looking For:
- Friendly, positive, and professional demeanor.
- Previous experience in customer service, reception, administrative support, or a healthcare setting is an asset.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable using computers and learning new software quickly.
- Professional, friendly, and compassionate when interacting with patients.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow within the practice.
- Experience with dental practice management software (e.g., Tracker, Dentrix, Cleardent, or Abeldent) is an asset but not required. We currently use Abeldent
- Knowledge of dental insurance and treatment planning is an asset but not required—we are happy to train the right candidate.
