We're seeking a part or full-time production associate (seamstress/sewist) to prepare, cut, and sew materials for mattresses and furniture upholstery.
Position Details
- Permanent - part-time or full-time available (up to 40 hrs/week)

Job Description:
- Operate sewing machines and sergers to produce products according to specifications.
- Cut materials for mattress cases and other Black Sheep products.
- Accurately sew using industrial machines.
- Fabricate products according to Black Sheep specifications and standards.
- Follow detailed work instructions and production schedules to meet deadlines.
- Complete assigned tasks in an accurate and timely manner.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve production processes.
- Participate in the development of new products.
Qualifications
- Ability to safely operate single needle sewing machines and multi-needle sergers or overlock machines
- Proven experience in manufacturing or sewing, with a keen eye for detail
- Experience on Juki, Reliable, or Merrow machines an asset
- 2 or more years experience preferred
- Secondary school certificate preferred
- Design experience an asset
- Upholstery experience an asset
