Job Title: General Assistant – Cookie Packaging Line
Location: Vaughan, ON L4K 3M3
Shift: 2:45 PM – 12:00 AM (Midnight) – Overtime may be required
Role Summary We are looking for energetic and hardworking individuals to join our cookie packaging team. This is a straightforward, fast-paced role focused on sorting, counting, and packaging freshly baked cookies.
Please note: This position operates near the baking area, so the working environment can be warm/heated.
Key Responsibilities
- Fast-Paced Packaging: Quickly and accurately count, sort, and pack cookies into trays, bags, or boxes.
- Quality Check: Visually inspect cookies on the conveyor belt to ensure they meet quality standards (removing broken or burnt items).
- Line Efficiency: Keep up with the speed of the production line to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements
- Speed & Stamina: Must have fast hand-eye coordination and the ability to work quickly in a fast-paced environment.
- Environment Fit: Comfortable working in a warm/hot environment near the industrial ovens.
- Physical Strength: Ability to stand for the duration of the shift and perform repetitive hand/arm movements.
- Reliability: Punctual, dependable, and flexible to work overtime when needed.
- Safety Gear: Must wear certified safety shoes.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $17.60-$18.00 per hour
