We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Line Cook to join our vibrant culinary team. Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and portioning ingredients
- Ensure all dishes are cooked properly, presented attractively, and served promptly
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including sanitizing work surfaces and utensils
- Follow food safety guidelines and proper handling procedures at all times
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy hours
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management
- Adhere to restaurant policies regarding serving, food handling, and meal preparation
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant kitchens, with knowledge of food preparation techniques
- Strong cooking skills with the ability to prepare a variety of dishes efficiently
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent understanding of meal preparation and presentation standards
- Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Familiarity with the food industry trends and customer service expectations
- Prior experience in serving or food industry roles is advantageous but not required
