Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Ontario Licensed Optometrist to join our dynamic eye care team. Duties
- Conduct thorough eye examinations using advanced diagnostic tools to assess visual acuity and ocular health
- Diagnose and manage a wide range of eye conditions, including refractive errors, glaucoma, cataracts, and pediatric eye issues
- Prescribe corrective lenses, medications, or treatments tailored to individual patient needs
- Educate patients on eye health, preventive care, and proper use of optical products
- Collaborate with optical staff to recommend suitable eyewear options and ensure proper fitting
- Maintain accurate patient records using electronic health record systems such as Epic or similar platforms
- Stay current with the latest advancements in optometry practices and optical technology to provide cutting-edge care
Requirements
- Valid Ontario Optometry License with active registration and compliance with provincial regulatory standards
- Proven experience in optical practice, including familiarity with pediatric and senior care populations
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to eye health and ocular conditions
- Experience working with electronic health record systems such as Epic or comparable platforms
- Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach to diverse patient needs
- Ability to communicate complex information clearly and effectively to patients of all ages
- Sales aptitude for recommending appropriate optical products while prioritizing patient well-being

Pay: $120.00-$180.00 per hour
