We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Tier 2 IT Support Technician to join our IT team. This role is responsible for providing advanced technical support to end users, resolving escalated incidents, maintaining IT infrastructure, and supporting Microsoft 365, endpoint devices, networking, and cybersecurity initiatives.
The ideal candidate has strong troubleshooting skills, excellent customer service abilities, and experience supporting business-critical systems in a Microsoft-centric environment. The position is demanding but rewarding and under the general supervision of the IT Manager.
As a valued member of the team, your core responsibilities will include:
- Providing advanced technical support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and business applications.
- Resolving escalated service requests and technical incidents.
- Supporting and administering Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Entra ID.
- Deploying and managing Windows devices and endpoint security solutions.
- Supporting network infrastructure, VPN connectivity, wireless networks, and firewall-related issues.
- Assisting with cybersecurity monitoring, incident response, and compliance initiatives.
- Maintaining documentation, supporting onboarding and offboarding activities, and contributing to ongoing IT improvements.
- Other duties as assigned.
The following qualifications are required of the successful candidate:
· Must be a Canadian citizen.
· Must live in Winnipeg, Manitoba or surrounding area.
· Must have own transportation to work.
· Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
· Minimum 3 years of experience in an IT support, systems support, or similar role.
· Experience supporting Microsoft 365 environments.
· Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 administration and troubleshooting.
· Experience with Active Directory and Entra ID.
· Understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN technologies.

Pay: $55,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
