Overview
Managers are responsible for giving our customers an exemplary dining experience by providing a comfortable and friendly atmosphere. You will be directing and assisting our front of house staff while maintaining clear communication with the back of house staff, to ensure an efficient and effective team atmospher.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily front-of-house operations, including seating, reservations, and customer service
- Supervise and train front-of-house staff, including servers, hosts, and baristas
- Ensure food handling and safety standards are strictly followed in compliance with health regulations
- Manage POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cash handling procedures
- Lead team meetings, conduct interviews for new hires, and participate in staff scheduling
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally to maintain high satisfaction levels
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area to meet safety standards
- Monitor restaurant performance metrics and implement improvements to enhance guest experience
Experience
- Proven supervising experience in food service or restaurant management roles
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food safety protocols
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
- Demonstrated leadership in team management within the hospitality or food industry
- Experience with interviewing, hiring, and training new staff members
- Knowledge of restaurant operations, customer service excellence, and hospitality standards
- Previous hotel or barista experience is a plus but not required
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively
