Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Pool & Spa Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and servicing of residential and commercial pools and spas. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of pool systems, water chemistry, and equipment operation. This position requires a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service while ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality.
Duties
- Conduct regular inspections of pools and spas to assess their condition and identify maintenance and/or repair needs.
- Perform routine cleaning, chemical balancing, and water testing to ensure optimal water quality.
- Troubleshoot and repair pool and spa equipment, including pumps, filters, heaters, and automation systems.
- Install new pool equipment as needed and provide recommendations for upgrades or improvements.
- Educate clients on proper pool care techniques and best practices for maintaining their systems.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and communicate effectively with clients regarding their pool or spa status.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while working on-site.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in pool maintenance or a related field is required.
- Strong knowledge of water chemistry and pool equipment operation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
- Strong communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various weather conditions.
- A valid driver's license is required for travel between job sites.
- Certification in pool maintenance or related fields is a plus but not mandatory.
