Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in Airbnb houses. This role is essential in providing a welcoming and hygienic environment for our guests. Prior experience in cleaning, hospitality, or custodial work is highly valued, especially hotel or industrial cleaning experience. The Housekeeper plays a vital role in upholding the high standards of cleanliness and comfort that our establishment is known for.
Responsibilities
- Clean and disinfect guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas according to established standards
- Change bed linens, make beds, and replenish supplies such as towels and toiletries
- Vacuum, sweep, mop floors, and dust surfaces to ensure a spotless environment
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning
- Follow safety procedures and use cleaning chemicals responsibly
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when supplies need replenishing
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment
- Assist with special cleaning projects as needed, including industrial or deep-cleaning tasks
- Hot tub service
Requirements
- Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or hospitality environments preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment and chemicals
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Excellent time management skills to complete assigned duties within scheduled shifts
- Prior hotel experience or industrial cleaning background is a plus but not mandatory
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions accurately
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $17.20-$25.00 per hour
