Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and personable Front Desk Agent to join our team in providing exceptional guest experiences at our hotel. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for guests, this role requires proficiency in managing phone systems and handling guest inquiries efficiently while ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process.
Duties
- Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly attitude, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Manage the front desk operations, including checking guests in and out of the hotel using the hotel management software.
- Handle phone calls with professionalism, utilizing excellent phone etiquette to assist guests with inquiries and reservations.
- Address guest complaints or concerns promptly and effectively, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills.
- Maintain accurate records of room availability and reservations using hotel management software.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction throughout their stay.
- Complete administrative tasks as needed, including processing payments and managing billing inquiries and reports.
Experience
- Previous experience in a front desk or customer service role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
- Familiarity with hotel management software is advantageous but not required; training will be provided.
- Strong communication skills are essential, with the ability to engage effectively with guests from diverse backgrounds.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing our ability to serve a wider range of guests.
