A Directional Drilling Labourer is a support role that involves performing manual labor and assisting the drill crew with tasks such as shoveling, excavating, maintaining equipment, and preparing conduits for underground installations, primarily for fiber optics and other utilities. This physically demanding position requires stamina, the ability to work outdoors in various conditions, and a strong commitment to safety. Responsibilities also include operating light machinery, assisting with pipe installation, and keeping the work area organized.
Schedule is approx. 10 on 4 off, 7-12 hours per day, operations tend to be in the Edmonton area.
There is potential to be trained as a Driller, Locator and/ or Hydrovac Operator should your abilities align.
There is also a requirement to have an active Drivers License and clean Drivers Abstract as this role may require you to operate a commercial vehicle.
