We are recruiting nurses (LPN) to add to a nursing team caring for a pediatric client (toddler) in Duncan. This job will entail providing 1:1 respite care in the home environment, caring for a child with medical needs.
Duties include: medication administration, hypoglycemic management, respiratory care, assessments, baby care.
8-40hours per week. Can be scheduled around another job.
This is a specialty training opportunity. Nurses will be sponsored to attend a 1-day training at BC Children's Hospital in Vancouver.
**Please note we are not a "travelling nurse" company so are hiring local applicants only.**
Qualifications:
- Current ‘practicing’ registration with BCCNM
- Valid CPR ‘C’ / BLS certification
- Demonstrated ability to work independently.
- Strong verbal and written interpersonal communication skills.
