Job Opportunity: Event DJ / Entertainment Specialist (Entry Level)
Focused Energy Productions, Inc. (FEP DJ Services) is looking for an energetic, reliable, and music-loving individual to join our team in Edmonton! We are currently seeking an Event DJ to assist with weddings, corporate events, and private parties.
No prior DJ experience? No problem. We believe in talent and personality over previous experience. We provide comprehensive hands-on training on our professional gear, software, and event flow. If you are eager to learn, have a passion for music, and know how to get a crowd moving, we want to hear from you.

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Setting up and tearing down professional audio/visual equipment.
- Assisting with music programming and crowd engagement.
- Learning to manage event timelines and coordinate with MCs and event planners.
- Maintaining a high standard of professionalism and energy at all client events.
What We’re Looking For:
- A "Can-Do" Attitude: You are eager to learn the technical and performance side of professional DJing.
- Reliability: You are punctual, professional, and prepared for every gig.
- Communication Skills: You are comfortable interacting with clients and event guests.
Requirements:
- Valid Driver’s License: Essential for transporting gear to and from event venues.
- Background Check: Successful candidates must be willing to undergo a standard background check as part of our hiring process.
Schedule:
- This is a flexible, part-time, event-based position. Hours are not guaranteed and are scheduled based on confirmed events. Availability is primarily required on evenings, weekends, and select weekdays depending on client bookings.
