Job Description
We are hiring Cooks for our Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen Location at 400 Queen Street W, Totonto.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills.
- Physical dexterity required (the ability to move up to 20 lbs. from one area to another).
- Ability to operate a computerized POS system.
- Basic math skills and written/verbal skills.
- Enthusiastic and team player.
- Commitment to excellent customer service.
Cooks Responsibilities.
- Prepare, season and cook food as per Popeyes Standards.
- Follow recipes and presentation specifications.
- Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Clean and maintain station in practicing good safety and sanitation
- Oversee kitchen operations
- Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes
- Carry out basic cleaning tasks around the premises
- Escalate major issues when necessary (e.g. safety risks, equipment failure)
- Other duties as requested by the manager
Full time hours Available
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary
Pay: From $17.60 per hour
Experience:
- Culinary: 1 year (preferred)
- cooking: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred)
