Our fast-paced restaurant, the BlackSwift Bistro, located at the trail-head of the historic Johnston Canyon hike, is looking for full-time Line Cooks that can help prepare ingredients needed in the preparation of meals. The successful candidates will be responsible for the grab & go items, creating meal portions, cleaning food, cooking meals and maintaining a clean work area.
The 2026 season will begin on May 9 and end on October 17.
Key Responsibilities:
- Memorizing recipes, policies, procedures, and standard portion sizes
- Preparing ingredients and components of each recipe on the restaurant’s menu
- Maintaining freshness of product and rotating old product out
- Working with a team of Cooks to handle varying levels of activity
- Maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe workspace at all times to avoid contamination
- Being aware of and following all kitchen health and safety regulations and guidelines
- Excellent organizational, time management and multitasking skills
- Great collaboration and teamwork skills
- Effective communication skills
- Keep the cooking area clean & hygienic

Requirements
- Available from May 9 to October 17 2026
- Clean criminal record check
- Legally eligible to work in Canada (work visa applicants // we do not sponsor)

Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
