We're looking for a highly organized, outgoing, and results-driven Corporate Sales & Events Coordinator to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment, has exceptional client service skills, and enjoys both generating new business and executing memorable corporate events.
As our Corporate Sales & Events Coordinator, you'll be responsible for securing new corporate bookings, building lasting client relationships, coordinating event logistics, and ensuring every event is executed flawlessly. In addition to a competitive base salary, this position offers a commission structure, giving you the opportunity to increase your earnings by bringing in new business.
What You'll Do
- Respond to corporate event inquiries and convert leads into confirmed bookings.
- Conduct venue tours and build strong relationships with prospective clients.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities by proactively prospecting, cold calling, emailing, networking, and building relationships with corporate clients to drive event sales and expand our client base.
- Prepare proposals, contracts, and event orders.
- Coordinate all event logistics with internal departments, including operations, culinary, bar, and management teams.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the planning process.
- Ensure all event details are communicated accurately and executed seamlessly.
- Attend and oversee corporate events when required to ensure an exceptional guest experience.
- Identify opportunities to upsell food, beverage, and premium event enhancements.
- Maintain accurate client records and follow up with past and prospective clients.
- Work collaboratively with the sales and marketing teams to generate new business opportunities.
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of experience in event coordination, hospitality, corporate sales, or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- A proactive, self-motivated individual who is comfortable with outbound sales and business development.
- Proven ability to build relationships and close sales.
- Ability to manage multiple events and deadlines simultaneously.
- Professional, polished, and client-focused demeanor.
- Experience using event management or CRM software is considered an asset.
- Flexible schedule, including occasional evenings and weekends for event execution.
