We are looking to add to our very busy dog daycare and dog/cat boarding facility in Calgary Ab. Shifts are 6am to 2:30pm and 2pm to 8:30pm. We are open 7 days a week (including Stats.) Staff rotate shifts (including weekends) If you can not work those shifts, do not apply.
Duties will include but not limited to;
- Intake of dogs for daycare and boarding
- Using our computer program
- Checking out dogs/cats from both daycare and boarding and receive payment from clients
- Supervise play groups
- Clean up after dogs
- Rotate dogs
- Prepare breakfasts, lunches and dinners
- Be confident and in control with a large pack
- Clean kennels
- Cleaning dishes/suites
- Clean yard
- Bath dogs
- Nail trims
- Clean up after cats
- Play with cats
- Mopping of floors
- Vacuuming of floors
- Laundry
- Must be able to work in a fast pace, sometimes hectic environment
- Must be available for early morning day shifts (do not apply if not available)
- Must be available for evening and weekend shifts (do not apply if not available)
- Must be available for Stat Holidays (including Christmas Day/News Years Day)
- Must have the ability to prioritize and have great time management
- Must be able to work as a team and independently
- Must have exceptional communication skills
- Must have customer service skills
- Previous animal experience is an asset (in a professional setting)
- Must be able to lift up to 85lbs
