Flamboro technical Services is a custom stainless steel manufacturing company that specializes in manufactured products for the food processing, food packaging and pharmaceutical industries. FTS is looking to add team members to our team and we are currently seeking candidates who are qualified for the role of Metal Grinder, finisher and polisher.
Typical Duties Include (but are not limited to):
- Heavy and light Grinding and polishing metal to specific specifications of parts using a variety of methods and tools.
- Heavy and light grinding of welds to polish smooth and return weldment to specific dimensions and finishes
- Responsible for blending materials mostly 304 SS.
- Responsible for grinding out welds and blending them to a #4 finish or sanitary profile
- Deburring parts
Requested skills
Required experience:
- Excellent hand eye coordination
- Willingness and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent fine manual dexterity is required
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience working with grinders, polishers and other small hand tools
- Experience grinding weldments and prepping parts as required
- Mirror finish polishing an added asset
