Overview
We are seeking a talented and personable Nail Technician to join our beauty team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for nail care and customer service, with the ability to create a relaxing and enjoyable experience for clients. This role offers an opportunity to showcase your skills in nail artistry, body waxing, and retail sales while maintaining high standards of sanitation and professionalism.
Duties
- Provide professional nail services including manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail art tailored to client preferences
- Perform body waxing services with attention to hygiene and client comfort
- Educate clients on nail care routines and recommend suitable products or treatments
- Upsell retail products to enhance client satisfaction and increase sales
- Maintain a clean and sanitized work environment in accordance with health regulations
- Deliver exceptional customer service by listening to client needs and ensuring a positive experience
- Manage appointment schedules efficiently to maximize client flow and service quality
- Build lasting relationships with clients through friendly communication and personalized care
- Relaxation massage
- Provide therapeutic foot massage
- Answer phone to respond to client questions and book appointments
- Perform cashiering duties
- General cleaning tasks such as sweeping and mopping
Requirements
- Experience in nail care services such as manicures, pedicures, gel, acrylics, and nail art is preferred
- Knowledge of body waxing techniques is a plus
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Commitment to sanitation standards and maintaining a clean work environment
- Ability to upsell retail products confidently and effectively
- Basic retail sales skills to promote products and services effectively
