Job Summary
We are currently looking for a Junior Automation Technician/Panel Builder to join our rapidly growing team!
Ideally you have industrial electrical and control experience. In this role, you will be primarily responsible in assembling electrical enclosures, wiring the equipment inside the electrical enclosures, mounting electrical equipment on systems and tying in devices from the system into the electrical enclosures.
The ideal candidate will have the following:
- Will have an Electrical/Electronics Technician or Technologist College Diploma or equivalent
- Able to follow electrical schematics to assemble and wire industrial electrical systems
- Technical knowledge of electrical and control system designs
- Highly organized, detail oriented, dependable, punctual, and able to make sound technical decisions with minimal assistance
- Electrical power distribution and control system design experience is an asset
- Test and commission systems at factory and customer facilities
- Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems is an asset
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Be a team player with exceptional interpersonal skills
