Job Overview
O.G. CATERING is looking for part time cooks / delivery drivers to join our tema.
This position is a part time position, working at the commissary to help procure, prepare, and execute food as required. The position is a flex position, meaning you will be required to help prep, do dishes, and cooking dishes as per recipe.
This position may also require you to work events including but not limited to weddings, corporate, social gatherings, bbq's during the early mornings, day times, late evenings and overnight.
You must be able to travel and get to our commissary or the offsite event by yourself.
Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to client specifications and dietary requirements.
- Ensure all food is handled safely and in compliance with health regulations.
- Set up and break down catering events, including arranging food displays and serving areas.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and food preparation areas.
- Collaborate with clients to develop tailored menus that meet their needs.
- Assist with inventory management, including ordering supplies as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service during events, ensuring guest satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the food service industry, preferably in catering or restaurant settings.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
- Flexibility to work varying hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- A passion for cooking and meal preparation, with creativity in menu planning.
