Locally owned pharmacy looking for a Pharmacy Assistant for full time position. Desired candidate must have attention to detail, a true passion working with people and be a strong team player. Experience is not a requirement, as we are willing to train the right candidate.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist the Pharmacist with the preparation, packaging and distribution of patient prescriptions
- Maintain patient and drug information files
- Ensure prescriptions are complete and accurate
- Proficient with Kroll pharmacy software preferred
- Experience with prescription processing and 3rd party adjudication
- Inventory management
- Non-sterile compounding
- Provide excellent customer service
- Excellent time management skills
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Team player a must
- Other duties as assigned
Regular work hours between 9am-5:30pm, no late evenings/shift work. Odd Saturdays (10am-2pm).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
