Green Infrastructure Partners- Prairie Division "GIP" (Formally Nelson River Construction) is hiring a motivated Junior Project Coordinator/Estimator for our Asphalt Division.

Summary
The Junior Project Coordinator provides day-to-day support to project teams by assisting with scheduling, documentation, coordination, and communication to help projects stay organized and on track. The position is ideal for someone early in their project career who is developing foundational project management skills while contributing to team organization, progress tracking, and continuous improvement across active projects.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist the Superintendent or Project Manager with administrative functions.
- Plan, organize, manage, and monitor project costs and estimates to completion.
- Verify progress billings from owners, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Liaise, consult, and communicate with engineers, architects, owners, contractors, subcontractors and suppliers on changes and adjustments to contracts.
- Collaborate with Managers, Superintendents, and key stakeholders throughout project.
- Build and manage relationships with new and existing clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Helping to manage day-to-day activities with the project team.
- Communicating plans, actions, risks, key issues with the project team.
- Assisting in solving issues that may arise during projects.
- Analyze project data, produce progress reports, track quantities.
- Maintaining a daily log of work-related activities.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in engineering, construction management, project management, or a related field
- 3+ years of progressive Civil, Municipal, or Mechanical related experience
- Excellent communication (written and verbal), time management and organizational skills
- Ability to identify and manage opportunities and risks on projects
- Ability to monitor and forecast project resources and staffing requirements
- Strong problem-solving skills, attentive to details, thorough and accurate in preparing estimates
- Deadline driven with strong ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Possess strong mathematical and computer skills with experience in Microsoft Office Suite, Bid2Win, InEight, and/or equivalent programs
- Willingness to learn and take on additional responsibilities, with proven ability to take initiative and leadership
- Valid Class 5 License
