Reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager, the Accounts Payable Clerk will be responsible for Supporting the Accounts Payable Supervisor, responsible for processing vendor invoices and liaising with internal and external stakeholders to maximize customer satisfaction.
This is to fill an existing position in the company.

Shift: Monday – Friday 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

What you will be doing:

Validate G/L coding and proper approval on all non-purchase order related vendor invoices
-
Process vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner, minimizing interest charges and maximizing vendor discounts taken.

Match all vendor invoices, vendor packing slips, Maple Lodge Farms purchase orders, MLF receiver and correspondence to MLF checks issued accordingly.

Responsible for the maintenance of A/P issue log.

Scan, file and maintain Accounts Payable documents.

Communicate and effectively resolve Stakeholders inquiries in a timely manner.

Assists in interim and year-end audit along with other audits as required.

b. Follow all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
What you will bring:

Some hands on accounting experience required;

Analytical, with problem-identification and problem-solving capabilities;

Team-player with the ability to interact professionally with internal and external stakeholders

Ability to work / excel in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and effective multi-tasking is essential;

General Computer Skills (e.g. MS Office)

Post Secondary Diploma required, preferable in Finance or Accounting.
