Dental Assistant/ floater
Job details: We are looking for an energetic, organized and detail-oriented dental assistant / floater to join our team here at Long Lake Family Dentistry. Our office offers an amazing and laid-back environment dedicated to maximizing the oral health of our patients. Experience: 1 year experience preferred, new grads are welcome to apply (30+) hours a week)
Salary: Based on experience
Role:
- Welcome and seat patients
- Complete medical histories with patients
- Disinfect and prepare examination rooms
- Assist the dentists during dental procedures
- Take and pour dental impressions with alginate as well as take digital scanning impressions
- Take dental radiographs
- Perform infection control measures ( e.x instrument sterilization)
- Order materials and maintain inventory
Requirements:
- Great customer service skills
- Proficient in writing and communication
- Able to work independently and alongside a team
- Ability to multi-tasks and adapt well to new learning circumstances
Qualifications:
- ODAA Dental Assistant Level I or II Certification
- HARP & IPAC Certification
- First Aid and CPR Certification
- WHIMIS Certifications
