Choice Health Centre is a growing group of health centres across Nova Scotia, built around collaborative, patient-directed care. We’ve created an environment where practitioners support each other, share patients, and focus on what’s actually best for the person in front of them.
At Choice, you won’t be practicing in isolation. Our physiotherapists work closely with chiropractors, massage therapists, acupuncturists, and other providers, sharing patients and ideas. The goal is always the same: help each patient achieve the best possible outcome.
We take care of the things that slow practitioners down, such as front desk, billing, marketing, and clinic supplies, so you can focus on your patients and your practice.
There’s also a steady flow of internal referrals, so you’re not starting from zero or wondering how you’ll fill your schedule.
For newer grads, we offer mentorship and support. For experienced physiotherapists, there’s room to grow, develop a niche, and take on more responsibility if that’s something you’re interested in.
The role
- Assess, diagnose, and treat clients using physiotherapy techniques
- Develop and adjust individualized treatment plans based on patient goals
- Prescribe and guide exercise programs and rehabilitation plans
- Collaborate with other practitioners as part of a team-based approach
- Maintain clear, accurate, and up-to-date clinical notes
- Manage your schedule and caseload
What we’re looking for
- Registered (or eligible for registration) with the Nova Scotia College of Physiotherapists
- Open to working in a collaborative, team-based environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Committed to ongoing learning and professional development
- New grads are welcome
