Dispatcher – LTL & Full Truckload
We are a growing transportation company looking for a driven and organized Dispatcher to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating freight movements, managing driver schedules, and ensuring on-time delivery performance across LTL and full truckload operations. Key responsibilities
Coordinate and manage daily dispatch operations, ensuring efficient load planning and on-time performance
Plan and consolidate LTL shipments effectively to maximize trailer utilization and reduce empty miles
Communicate proactively with clients via phone and email, providing timely load status updates and resolving concerns professionally
Manage and support drivers throughout the day — assignments, check-ins, issue resolution, and schedule adjustments
Monitor equipment utilization and work to minimize idle time and optimize asset deployment
Source and book loads using LoadLink or similar load board platforms
Maintain accurate records in Google Sheets and internal systems; strong typing speed required
What we're looking for
- Minimum 1 year of dispatching experience in the trucking industry
- Solid understanding of LTL operations and freight consolidation
- Proficient with LoadLink or similar load board platforms
- Comfortable with Google Sheets and fast, accurate data entry
- Strong communication skills — confident on calls and clear in written updates
- Ability to handle pressure, multitask, and stay organized in a high-volume environment
Pay: $45,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
