SimpsonWigle LAW LLP is currently seeking to hire a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will manage a variety of Human Resources and General Office functions, including but not limited to employee data management, recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, scheduling, and inventory control. This role requires proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Suites and strong time/project management skills to support the company's initiatives effectively. The Administrator will play a vital role in ensuring smooth operations and fostering a positive work environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to:
· Manage and maintain HRIS systems and HR reports.
· Oversee talent acquisition processes including sourcing candidates, and coordinating hiring activities.
· Support employee onboarding and offboarding procedures to ensure compliance and a seamless transition for new hires including firm assets and benefits administration.
· Assist with facilitating training & development programs to enhance employee skills and career growth opportunities.
· Handle employee relations issues by providing guidance and support in accordance with company policies.
· Maintain effective communication with employees at all levels to promote engagement and transparency.
· Inventory control and general office upkeep.
· Other duties and tasks as assigned

Required experience/qualifications:
· Proven experience in human resources management or administrative roles within a legal environment.
· Familiarity with HRIS platforms such as ADP Workforce Now is highly preferred.
· Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
· Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with employees at all levels.
· Prior experience in employee relations, training & development, data collection, and administrative functions is beneficial.
· High level of accuracy and strong attention to detail.
· Team player with excellent communication, interpersonal and time management skills
· Strong organizational skills and file management skills, resourceful and capable of working independently
· Ability to take initiative, exercise good judgment and confidentiality
· Exceptional knowledge of Microsoft Suites (Word, Excel and Outlook)

Work Hours and Location – the role requires onsite attendance Monday to Friday from 09:00 am to 05:00 pm primarily based out of our Hamilton offices with one day per week at our Burlington offices.
