InSight Optometry & Vision Therapy provides comprehensive eye care, pediatric vision therapy, vision training, as well as brain injury and neuro-developmental assessments. Our clinic is dedicated to helping children and adults improve visual, motor, and other sensory skills to become more effective tools for school, sports, work and play. We are centrally located in Walnut Grove, just off Highway 1, in the Langley area.
We are a full scope Optometry Clinic that specializes in vision development and visual rehabilitation. We are looking for a friendly, outgoing person to join our team! We are a growing clinic and will likely have long term employment availability for the right candidate.
Job Description and Duties:
Job duties would include helping with the day to day operations of the clinic. This would include, but may not be limited to, greeting patients in person and on the phone, answering phone calls and scheduling appointments, preparing and receiving reports, submission and reconciliation of third party and government billings, filing and scanning patient files, pretesting patients before they see the doctor, helping with optical needs, and maintaining office cleanliness.
Job Requirements
The applicant must be a quick learner with attention to detail. Having a caring nature and friendly demeanor is a must.
Applicant MUST be able to work on Saturdays.
Experience: Previous work at an optical, optometry clinic, or medical office is an asset but not required. Proficient computer skills with Microsoft office programs is mandatory. Customer service experience would be beneficial.
Education: Post secondary education is an asset.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00-$20.00 per hour
