We are searching for a passionate and experienced full-time Nanny who will work very closely with our family in Sarnia, ON to help care for and nurture a fun and loving child.

- You have had previous experience as a Nanny/ Childcare professional
General Duties
- Arrive on-time during agreed upon time and keep a reliable work schedule as agreed
- Follow all safety rules and stay on high alert to ensure child’s safety is always a priority
- Lead child through the day by promoting age-appropriate activities and challenging child to reach milestones
- Prepare nutritious meals for child throughout the day and clean up after feeding
- Ensure child’s personal hygiene and cleanliness throughout the day
- Maintain a clean and organized space, including tidying up play areas and doing child's laundry
- Support child with daily needs, which includes nurture & comfort, sleep/nap time, play time, and meal & snack times
Requirements
- Previous experience as a nanny/ childcare professional
- Ability to focus on safety and keeping an organized, tidy, and clean space around the home
- Complete light chores related to meal prep and clean- up, child’s laundry, and hygiene
- Ability to prepare meal for child with focus on healthy eating and snacking
- Willingness & ability to bond with child, with experience in fostering a nurturing and learning environment
- Strong communication skills with proven ability to engage with child and effectively provide/ receive feedback to/ from parents
- Valid driver’s license and ability to safely, timely, and reliably arrive to home as required
- Proof of eligibility to work in Canada
- Early childhood education an asset
- Must have valid and applicable references from previous employers
Competitive salary commensurate with experience and credentials. Must reside in Sarnia or willing to relocate. Relocation assistance will be provided. Apply only if you meet all of the requirements. Background check will be required.
