About the Role
True North Labour is currently seeking experienced, safety-focused Skilled Carpenters for immediate placement in Lower Mainland, BC.
In this role, your primary focus will be working off an aerial work platform (scissor lift), strip exterior materials, alongside handling other general carpentry and site tasks as assigned. If you are a reliable tradesperson who is comfortable working at heights, possesses a great attitude, and is ready to hit the ground running, we want to hear from you today!
Key Responsibilities:
- Aerial & Exterior Work: Work efficiently off an aerial work platform (scissor lift) to strip exterior materials.
- General Carpentry: Perform general carpentry tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
- Site Support: Assist with miscellaneous skilled labour duties around the site to support the project.
- Safety First: Follow all site safety protocols, company procedures, and utilize safety equipment correctly at all times.
Candidate Qualifications:
- Location: Lower Mainland, BC.
- Experience: Proven experience in general carpentry and exterior stripping..
- Skills: Ability to follow site specifications, take direction from leadership, and work confidently from an aerial work platform.
- Attributes: Reliable, punctual, professional, and a strong team player.
Required Certifications & PPE:
- Valid Fall Protection Certification (Mandatory).
- WHMIS 2015 (Required).
- Required PPE: Hard hat, High-visibility safety vest, and Steel-toe boots.
