We are seeking a dynamic and technically skilled Metals Sales Representative to join our team. This role involves engaging with clients to promote and sell our metal products, providing expert guidance on technical specifications, and demonstrating the value of our offerings.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities in the metals market.
- Develop and maintain relationships with prospective clients within the metals industry.
- Provide technical assistance and product information to customers.
- Prepare quotes and proposals for customers.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients.
- Conduct market research to identify trends and customer needs.
- Coordinate with production and logistics teams to ensure timely product delivery.
- Attend industry trade shows and networking events.
- Follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction and solicit feedback.
- Create and deliver presentation to potential customers.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience in sales within the metals or manufacturing industry.
- Knowledge of matallurgy and metal processing techniques.
- Strong networking skills and established industry contacts.
- Ability to analyze market trends and customer needs.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 2+ years of sales experience, preferably in a relevant industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to travel as needed for client meetings and events.
Pay: $35,500.00-$123,272.27 per year
