What You’ll Be Doing as a Resident Pedorthist
- Assist with biomechanical assessments and patient care
- Training in assessing lower limb anatomy, muscle and joint function
- Help design, fit, and adjust custom-made orthotics and orthopaedic footwear.
- Educate patients on foot health, footwear, and injury prevention
- Maintain accurate clinical records and deliver exceptional patient care
- Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals
What We’re Looking For
- Degree or diploma in Kinesiology (or related field: Human Kinetics, Health Sciences)
- Interest in orthotics, rehabilitation, or sports medicine, footwear, and lower limb bracing
- A passion for helping people alleviate pain, abnormalities and debilitating conditions of the lower limbs and feet so your patients can enjoy healthy, active lives.
- Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn
Compensation & Perks
- Entry-level salary: approximately $45,000 – $65,000 (clinic & province dependent)
