Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment for young children. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education, caregiving, and working with children of diverse needs, including those with disabilities. Responsibilities
- Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity and exploration
- Support children's individual needs, including working with children with diverse backgrounds.
- Maintain open communication with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and daily activities
- Ensure adherence to all safety standards and licensing regulations
- Assist with classroom management, including behavior guidance and conflict resolution
- Collaborate with team members to develop curriculum plans and improve program quality
- Document children's developmental milestones and maintain accurate records of attendance and activities
Experience
- Prior experience working with children in an educational or caregiving setting is preferred
- Classroom experience in early childhood education is highly desirable
- Experience working with Children with diverse needs.
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles, teaching strategies, and developmental milestones is essential
- Demonstrated ability to create engaging lesson plans and adapt activities to meet diverse learning needs
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, children, and families.
- Will Train and mentor staff who have just graduated
Pay: From $24.00 per hour
