Job Summary
GRT is seeking a reliable and organized Office Administration Assistant to support daily operations at our Port Kells, Surrey facility. This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) and plays a key role in keeping our office and project coordination running smoothly.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable handling a variety of administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment. Experience or familiarity with construction or project management processes is a strong asset.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide general administrative support to the office and management team
- Coordinate schedules, meetings, and project-related documentation
- Assist with project tracking, documentation, and communication
- Maintain organized records, files, and databases
- Support logistics coordination and communication between office and field teams
- Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and correspondence as needed
- Run occasional errands or support off-site tasks as required
Requirements
- Experience: 1–3 years in an administrative or office support role
- Computer Skills: Proficient in Outlook, Excel, and general office software
- Organization: Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Communication: Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills
- Driver’s License: Valid license required; must be able to drive
- Assets: Experience in construction, logistics, or project coordination is an advantage
- Traits: Reliable, adaptable, proactive, and able to work independently
Work Hours & Conditions
- Full-time: 40 hours per week
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, standard business hours
- Occasional flexibility may be required based on project needs
