Maxima Holdings Corporation is seeking a motivated and reliable Part-Time Contracted Maintenance Worker to assist with the ongoing maintenance, repair, renovation, and improvement of our residential and commercial real estate portfolio throughout the Niagara Region.
This is a flexible contractor position with hours typically ranging from 10–30 hours per week, depending on maintenance demands, active projects, seasonal work, and emergency repairs.
The successful candidate will work alongside our maintenance team and assist with a wide variety of property maintenance, repair, renovation, and site improvement tasks.
Typical Responsibilities:
Renovations & Construction Assistance
- Assisting with framing and wall construction
- Drywall installation, mudding, sanding, and finishing
- Loading, transporting, and organizing materials
- Assisting with renovations, unit turnovers, and general construction tasks
Repairs & General Maintenance
- Assisting with plumbing, electrical, lighting, and general repairs
- Drop ceiling and tile repairs
- Minor carpentry and building repairs
- Replacing HVAC filters and checking belts
- Repairing window screens and minor building deficiencies
- Inspecting smoke detectors and other safety items

Important Notes About the Role
- Every day is different — some jobs may take an hour while larger projects may span multiple days
- Workload and scheduling will vary depending on operational demands
- Additional labour support is available as needed for larger projects

Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation
- Ability to safely hitch and tow a trailer
- Comfortable driving between multiple properties throughout the Niagara Region
- Must provide personal hand tools and basic power tools
- Some company tools and equipment are available for use
- Mileage reimbursement and/or tool allowance may be negotiated based on experience and equipment provided
Compensation
$25 –$38 per hour, depending on experience, capabilities, tools, and overall skill set.
