Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team and maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in custodial and commercial cleaning, ensuring that all areas meet high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. This role is essential in supporting the overall operations by providing exceptional cleaning services in various settings, including offices, commercial spaces, and public areas.
Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal across designated areas
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, kitchens, and common areas to uphold health standards
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring they are used safely and effectively
- Follow established cleaning protocols and safety procedures at all times
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure continuous cleanliness and readiness of facilities
- Adhere to scheduled cleaning routines to ensure timely completion of tasks
Requirements
- Prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment and chemicals
- Ability to work independently with attention to detail
- Strong work ethic with reliability and punctuality
- Physical ability to perform cleaning duties, including standing for extended periods, bending, lifting, and moving objects as needed
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and hygienic environment in compliance with health regulations
