Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server to join our Authentic Korean restaurant team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest service, ensuring a memorable dining experience. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. Previous experience in food service and hospitality is preferred, but we are willing to train motivated individuals passionate about the food industry. The Server will play a key role in creating a positive atmosphere for our guests and supporting the overall operation of the restaurant.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation quality
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are maintained at all times
- Assist with food preparation and kitchen duties as needed
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Address guest inquiries promptly, providing excellent customer service and guest support
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations throughout shifts
Skills
- Proficiency with POS systems, especially Micros POS, for order entry and cashiering
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction
- Knowledge of food handling, safety protocols, and sanitation standards in the food industry
- Experience in food service or restaurant environments preferred but not required; training provided for motivated candidates
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours
- Basic math skills for accurate order entry and cash handling transactions
- Ability to upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and revenue
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with kitchen staff and team members
- Familiarity with food safety practices, serving etiquette, and restaurant operations
