Job Overview
We are seeking a dependable and motivated General Labour / Production Worker to join our manufacturing team. This role involves supporting daily production operations, handling various manual tasks, and ensuring the smooth flow of materials and products through the facility. Duties
- Assist with assembly, packaging, and material handling tasks to support production processes
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and basic machinery as required
- Use forklift equipment to move materials safely within the warehouse or production area
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and work areas to ensure safety and cleanliness
- Support maintenance activities by performing minor repairs or adjustments using mechanical knowledge
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and materials used
- Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment at all times
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals efficiently and effectively
Requirements
- Prior experience with warehouse operations, manufacturing, or assembly preferred
- Mechanical knowledge or familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic machinery is a plus
- Valid forklift certification or experience operating forklifts is highly desirable
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
- Prior experience with warehouse experience or manufacturing environments is advantageous
Pay: $17.60 per hour
