As a Full-Time Transit Bus Driver in Kimberley, you'll play a vital role in connecting people with their communities by providing safe, reliable, and professional transportation services. This position includes operating both conventional transit buses and accessible vehicles serving Kimberley and surrounding areas.

- Safely operate conventional and accessible transit buses in accordance with company policies and provincial regulations
- Transport passengers on scheduled routes while maintaining a high standard of customer service
- Assist passengers with mobility devices when required
- Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report any defects
- Complete required vehicle documentation and inspection reports
- Operate onboard communications equipment and fare collection systems
- Maintain a safe, respectful, and harassment-free environment for passengers and coworkers
- Report incidents, safety concerns, collisions, or service disruptions promptly
- Fuel, wash, and perform routine vehicle care as required
- Adhere to all safety, operational, and regulatory requirements
- Valid Class 2 Driver's Licence with Air Brake Endorsement, or a valid Class 1 Driver's Licence
- Clean driver's abstract
- Ability to pass a criminal record check and pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
- Safe driving record and strong commitment to safety
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physically able to perform all job duties, including assisting passengers when required
- Reliable, professional, and punctual
- Previous transit, coach, shuttle, school bus, or commercial driving experience
- Experience working with the public in a customer-focused role
- Knowledge of the Kimberley and Cranbrook area
